Intersec 2019
The integrated security operations portfolio, shown as one system rather than five product lines.
Intersec 2019
Security exhibitions reward the loudest camera on the stand. AU went with a different argument, which is that a building is not protected by devices but by the way they are joined together.
So the stand was arranged as one operations picture. Surveillance, entry, detection and building control were presented as inputs into a single console, because that is how a security team actually works: one room, one screen, one decision to make quickly.
On the stand
What we took with us.
Surveillance and video management
Cameras paired with video management, so recorded footage is searchable evidence rather than an archive nobody opens.
Access control
Credentialled entry across zones, with the same identity logic AU applies to payments: prove the person, not the token.
Fire alarm and detection
Detection tied into the same console, so an alarm and the camera covering it arrive together.
Building management
Environmental and plant control, which is the part that keeps a secured building habitable and its equipment alive.
Integration and design
The survey, design and commissioning work that decides whether the four above behave as one system.

The conversations that mattered were not about specifications. They were about who is on site when a system fails at two in the morning, which is the question AU is built to answer.
